My Sweet Half

Hi there! I am so glad to have you back on my blog. Today I am sharing the first card I made as a part of Magengo’sDesign Team. I used the absolutely adorable My Sweet Half Stamp Set for this card.

First, I printed the image on a piece of Neenah Solar White 80lb cardstock and fussy cut it with my cutter bee scissors. Then I coloured it using my Copic Markers.

Below are the colours I used:
Boy : C7, C5, C3, E02, E00, E000, E49, E47, E44
Girl : R89, R39, R29, R24, E02, E00, E000, C10, C7, C5, B28

For the background, I used an A2 Distress Watercolor cardstock, masked the moon and inked the rest of the panel using Squeezed Lemonade, Mermaid Lagoon, Salty Ocean, Blueprint Sketch, Chipped Sapphire Distress Inks along with a blender brush. I then splattered water on it and dabbed off the excess with a paper towel. I also splattered white liquid watercolor on the panel using a round brush. Then I unmasked the moon and coloured it using Squeezed Lemonade Distress Ink.

After that, I die cut a piece of Neenah Solar White 110lb cardstock using Meadow Borders Die Set by Lawn Fawn and inked it using Mowed Lawn, Evergreen Bough and Lucky Clover Distress Inks.

Next, I stamped the sentiment from the To the Moon Stamp Set by Altenew on a piece of black cardstock using VersaMark Ink, sprinkled white embossing powder on it and heat set it with my heat gun. Then I cut it to thin strips using my trimmer.

Lastly, I assembled the card using foam strips and art glitter glue.

I have listed the products used below. Thank you for visiting my Blog.
