Clean & Simple Boutique Cards

Welcome to my blog, my crafty friends! I made this card for the Clean & Simple Boutique Cards Course by Altenew Academy. Jennifer Rasa shows many different ways to create clean, simple and beautiful cards. For today’s card, I used a few different Altenew products.

I started by stamping the solid layer from the Stunning Cosmos Stamp Set on a piece of Neenah Solar White 80lb cardstock using Citrus Burst crisp ink. For the second layer, I used Crimson crisp ink. For the centre of the flowers, I used Olive crisp ink for the solid layer and Moss crisp ink for the second layer. Then I stamped the stems using Just Green and Hunter Green crisp inks.

Since I wanted a few leaves with the flowers, I stamped the images from the Beloved Daisy Stamp Set using Sweet Leaf, Just Green and Hunter Green crisp inks. Next, I stamped the vase from the Versatile Vases Stamp Set on a piece of Neenah Solar White 80lb cardstock using Memento Black Ink. After that, I fussy cut the flowers, the leaves and the vase using my cutter bee scissors

Then I die cut a piece of Neenah 110lb cardstock using the Create-A-Wreath Die Set. I die cut it two more times. Next, I coloured the vase and the twigs using my Copic Markers.
Below are the colours I used:
Vase – B02, B00, B000
Twigs – E59, E57, E55, E53

To create the background, I die cut a piece of Neenah Solar White 110lb cardstock using the Watercolor Stripes Cover Die and then embossed it using the Dotted Swirls Debossing Cover Die. Since I wanted to add dimension to the panel, I die cut one more piece of cardstock using the Watercolor Stripes Cover Die and stuck both the panels together using art glitter glue.

Next, I stamped the sentiment from the Dare to Dream Stamp Set on a piece of black cardstock using VersaMark Ink, sprinkled white embossing powder on it, dusted off the excess and heat set it with my heat gun. I then used my trimmer to cut it into thin strips. After that, I assembled the card using art glitter glue and stuck the sentiment strips using black foam tape. Lastly, I applied Clear Wink of Stella on the flowers to add shimmer to the card.

I have listed the products used below. Thank you for visiting my Blog.
