I started by die cutting the heart from Camel Watercolour Paper using the heart die from the My Monthly Hero Classic January 2024 Kit. Then, I inked the edges using Tea Dye, Vintage Photo and Ground Espresso Distress Inks and a blending brush.
Next, I stamped the image and sentiment from the Skunk Love Stamp Set on the heart using Intense Black Ink. I then coloured the flowers and leaves using the Watercolour Pencils from the My Monthly Hero Classic December 2023 Kit. Then I die cut the heart from Pitch Black cardstock and stuck the Camel cardstock on it, slightly offsetting it to create a shadow effect.
After that, I used the Ode to Andy Warhol Script Bold Prints to stamp the background on the Camel Watercolour Paper using Tea Dye and Ground Espresso Distress Inks. Then I tore the paper to approximately 4 x 5 1/4 inches and inked the edges using Tea Dye, Vintage Photo and Ground Espresso Distress Inks.
I then stuck the background on an A2 Pitch Black cardstock and stuck this panel on an A2 card base. Lastly, I stuck the heart on the card front using precision glue.
