Congratulations! We are so happy for you

Hello there and welcome back to my blog. I made this card for the Muted Tones Challenge at A Blog Named Hero using the Peonies Stamp Set by Hero Arts.

I started by stamping the peony using Obsidian Pigment Ink on an A2 Arches cold press paper. Then I masked it and stamped the leaves. I used Distress Oxides to watercolour the images as oxides have a muted look as compared to Distress inks. For the flowers, I used Aged Mahogany, Spiced Marmalade and Fossilized Amber. I coloured the leaves using Iced Spruce and Peeled Paint Distress Oxide Inks. After that, I added shadows around the flower and leaves using Faded Jeans and Wilted Violet Distress Oxide Inks

Then I coloured the background using Wilted Violet Distress Oxide Ink along with a size 8 brush. Once the panel was dry, I added details on the image using my Polychromos (263, 186, 182, 187, 278, 247, 160, 199).

Next, I inked the edges using Faded Jeans Distress Oxide Ink along with a blender brush. After that, I stamped the sentiment from the same stamp set using Obsidian Pigment Ink. I then masked the image and the sentiment and splattered black liquid watercolor by Hero Arts using a round brush. Lastly, I stuck this panel on an A2 card base using precision glue.

I have listed the products used below. Thank you for visiting my Blog.
