AAA Cards Challenge #155 – Along the Edge

Hey there! Welcome to my blog. I am so glad that you could stop by today. I have some exciting news to share with you all, I was asked to be a part of the AAA Cards Challenge Design Team, and of course, I said Yesssss!!! It is a dream come true for me, and I am so honoured to work alongside all the fabulously talented card makers. Please do check their blog to see their gorgeous projects. The theme for challenge #155 is Along the Edge + Optional Twist Time Travel. I certainly had fun making my card for this challenge. I tried to create a portal in the sky using my Copic Markers to go along with the theme.

First, I masked the top portion of the card using purple tape. Then I stamped the Santa from the Little Santa Agenda Stamp Set by Mama Elephant using Memento Black Ink on an A2 card panel. Next, I stamped the reindeer from the Little Reindeer Agenda Stamp Set by Mama Elephant. I stamped the reindeer two more times, each time moving the stamp up diagonally, to give the illusion of the reindeer flying in the sky. I then coloured the images and the sky with my Copic Markers.

Below are the colours I used:
Reindeer – E59, E57, E55, BG32, R27, 100
Santa – R59, R29, R27, R24, N3, N1, 0, E000, E00, BG32
Santa’s sack and gifts – R59, R29, R27, R24, N3, N1, 0, Y00, G17, G29
Sleigh – E59, E57, E55, BG32
Sky – B99, B97, B95, B93, BV00, Y000, Y00, G00, BG10, BG32, BG11, B00

Then I masked all the images and splattered white liquid watercolor to create the stars. Lastly, I unmasked the card panel and stamped the sentiment from the Holiday Messages Stamp Set by Mama Elephant using Obsidian Pigment Ink.

I have listed the products used below. Thank you for visiting my Blog.

  2. Congrats on your wonderful news! I adore the ‘along the edge’ scene that you created, but it’s the time travel element that is the WOW factor, I would never have thought of that!
