A Blog Named Hero June Challenge – Monochromatic

Hello there! Welcome to my blog. We have a new challenge on A Blog Named Hero and the theme for this month’s challenge is Monochromatic.

First, I stamped the images from the My Monthly Hero June 2019 kit, Hoppy Day and Tranquility Stamp sets on an A2 white cardstock using Intens-ified Black ink. As I didn’t have the lotus leaves stamp set, I used the leaves from the Hero Florals Nasturtium Stamp Set. Since this is a one layer card, I stamped the images in the foreground first, masked them and then stamped the images in the background.

After that, I coloured the images with my Copic Markers – C7, C6, C5, C4, C3, C2, C1 and C0. I then added details using my Polychromos Pencils – 199, 235, 181 and 234. To enhance the highlights, I used my White Prismacolor Pencil. As the last step, I stamped the sentiment from the Zen Messages Stamp Set using Intens-ified Black ink and stuck the card panel on an A2 card base.

Thank you for joining me today. I hope you join the challenge for a chance to win a Hero Arts gift card! Have a fabulous day.
