It is not in the Stars to hold our Destiny…

Hello and welcome back to my blog! Today I would like to share a bookmark I made for the Anything But A Card Challenge at A Blog Named Hero.

First, I stamped the fairy image from the My Monthly Hero December 2018 kit on a piece of Neenah Solar White 110lb cardstock using Memento Black ink. Then I masked it and stamped the mushroom from the same stamp set. Next, I used the Cross-Stitch Bookmark Die set by My Favorite Things to cut the cardstock. I then unmasked the image and used my Copic Markers to colour them.

Below are the colours I used:
Fairy:
Skin – E11, E00, E000
Hair – E99, YR24, Y08, Y02
Outfit – BG49, BG13, Bg32, BG11
Wings – BG10, BV000, Y000
Mushroom – N7, N5, N3, N1, N0, 0, R89, R39, R27, R24, R22

After that, I masked both the stamped images and inked the sky using Mermaid Lagoon, Wilted Violet, Blueprint Sketch, Chipped Sapphire and Black Soot Distress Inks along with blender brushes by Taylored Expressions. Then I inked the ground using Frayed Leaf and Hunter Green Crisp Inks and used Copic Markers G19, YG17 and G14 to create the grass. Then I masked the grass and splattered white liquid watercolor with a round brush on the background.

While the bookmark was drying, I stamped the sentiment from the Dreams Are Made Stamp Set on a piece of black cardstock using VersaMark ink, sprinkled white detail embossing powder, dusted off the excess and heat set it with my heat gun. Next, I cut the cardstock to a banner using my trimmer and stuck it on the bookmark. As a final step, I tied a blue ribbon to the bookmark.

I have listed the products used below. Thank you for visiting my Blog.
