Merry Christmas my crafty friends! Today I would like to share this bookmark using Mini Doodle Greetings Stamp Set by Stampers Anonymous and the Cross-Stitch Bookmark Die set by My Favorite Things.
First, I cut a piece of watercolour cardstock using the Cross-Stitch Bookmark Die set by My Favorite Things. Then I prepped the cardstock by rubbing embossing powder bag on it. Next, placed the sentiment from the Mini Doodle Greetings Stamp Set by Stampers Anonymous on my Stamp Platform and stamped it using VersaMark ink. After that, I sprinkled Red Embossing powder by Hero arts, dusted off the excess and heat set it with a heat gun. I then used Cracked Pistachio and Pine Needles Distress inks along with a mini ink blending tool to colour the bookmark. Next, I splattered water on the panel and dabbed the excess with a paper towel. After that, I splattered Yellow Gold paint from the Kuretake Starry colors set using my Silver Velvet round brush.
I cut the top part of the bookmark using the die from Cross-Stitch Bookmark Die set. Then I applied VersaMark ink, sprinkled Gold Embossing powder on it and heat set it with a heat gun. After that, I assembled the bookmark using art glitter glue. As a final step, I attached a ribbon to the bookmark.
