I Love you to the Core!

For this week’s card, as a part of Maymay Made It Alumni Team, I used two of the vintage stamp sets –  Memory Lane and Apple of my Eye.

I started by cutting a piece of Canson XL paper using the largest die from the Peek a Frame die set by Mama Elephant. I used my Tim Holtz Stamp Platform to stamp all the images. First, I stamped the apple basket, masked it and stamped the other two beside it. Next, I stamped the wood sign and then stamped the sentiment on it. I masked all these images and stamped the truck. After masking the truck, I stamped the apples on it. Then I fussy cut this panel.

For the cloud background, I cut another piece of Canson XL paper using the largest die from the Peek a Frame die set. To create the clouds, I used Squeezed Lemonade, Fossilized Amber and Ripe Persimmon Distress Oxide Ink along with the Mini Cloud Edges Stencil by My Favorite Things.

First, I masked the images and the lower part of the panel. Next, I used Tea Dye Distress Oxide Ink to colour the road. To add texture to it, I used Vintage Photo Distress Oxide Ink with a Nuvo Blending brush and dabbed it on the background. Then I masked the ground and used Twisted Citron Distress Oxide Ink to colour the grass. I used Mowed Lawn Distress ink and followed the same technique as I did above to add texture to it.

I unmasked all the images and coloured them using Derwent Inktense inks.

Then I stuck this panel on the cloud background. As a final step, I stuck this panel on a white A2 top folding card base.

I have listed the products used below. Thank you for visiting my Blog.
