Happy Winter

Hello there! Welcome back to my blog. Today I would like to share a card I made using the Happy Winter Stamp Set for Magengo Designs as a part of her design team.

First, I created the scene in Photoshop using the stamps and printed it on Neenah Solar White 80lb cardstock. Then I cut it to 4 1/4 * 5 1/2 inches using my trimmer. I also printed the images on a masking sheet, fussy cut them and masked the images on the card panel.

To create the hills, I used the Drifts & Hills Stencil by My Favorite Things along with Peacock Feathers Distress Ink and a blender brush. After that, I masked the hills and coloured the sky using Peacock Feathers, Seedless Preserves, Chipped Sapphire and Black Soot Distress Inks. I then unmasked the images and coloured them using my Copic markers.

Below are the colours I used:
Snowman – BV02, BG10, B00, B02, B04, B06, R59, R39, R29, R24, N3, N1, N0, 0, E59, E57
Penguins – C10, C7, N3, N1, N0, 0, YR09, YR04, Y38, Y15
Snowballs – BV02, BG10, B00, 0
Shadows – BV02, BG10, B00

After that, I stamped the sentiment from the Christmas sELFies Stamp Set by My Favorite Things using Obsidian Pigment Ink. Then I splattered white gouache on the entire card panel using a round brush. Once the background was dry, I stuck it on an A2 card base.

I have listed the products used below. Thank you for visiting my Blog.
