Thanks for everything

Welcome to my blog, my crafty friends! I made this card for the Simon Says Wednesday Challenge – Something Metallic and the Time Out Challenge – Inspired by Words.

I started by placing the Cora Background Stamp by Simon Says Stamp on my Misti. Next, I prepped an A2 black cardstock using an embossing bag to remove any static. Then I inked the stamp using VersaMark ink and stamped it on the card panel. Next, I sprinkled antique gold embossing powder on it, dusted off the excess and heat set it with my heat gun. After that, I coloured the panel using a few of the colours from the Metallic Watercolor 14 pan set by Altenew. I then added the white details with my white Prismacolor pencil.

Next, I die cut the word thanks from a piece of black cardstock using a die from the Script Words 2 Die Set by Altenew. Then I embossed this die-cut piece thrice using the antique gold embossing powder. I then die cut the word thanks one more time from a piece of black cardstock and stuck the embossed word slightly in front of it to make it look like a shadow.

After that, I embossed the words “for everything” from the Sentiment Strips Stamp Set by Altenew on a strip of black cardstock. Next, I assembled the card panel, and foam mounted the sentiment strip with black foam tape. Lastly, I stuck this card panel on an A2 card base.

I have listed the products used below. Thank you for visiting my Blog.
