Happy Birthday

Hello there my crafty friends! I hope you are having a lovely week. I am super excited to share my first project as a guest designer for Varada Sharma. Today I would like to share a card I made featuring the Backyard Buddies, Lots of Stars and So Mice Of You Stamp Sets.

First, I created the scene in photoshop and printed it on Neenah Solar White 80lb cardstock. Next, I trimmed the cardstock to 4 1/4 * 5 1/2 inches using my trimmer. I also printed the images on a masking sheet, fussy cut them using my cutter bee scissors and stuck them on the card panel. Then I masked the ground using memo tape.

After that, I placed the Woven Stencil by Altenew on the card panel and stuck it in place using my purple tape. I then inked the background with Mustard Seed Distress Ink along with a blender brush. Next, I unmasked the images and drew the strings and ribbons for the balloons using my Copic Multiliner pen. Then I used my Copic Markers to colour them.

Below are the colours I used:
Mouse – C3, C2, C0, R20, R00, R000, N2, N1, 0
Bow – R39, R27, R24, R22, R21
Balloons – BG78, BG18, BG49, BG13, BG23, BG11, BG10
Gift box – R39, R27, R24, R22, R21
Ribbon – E99, YR24, Y08, Y02, Y000
Shadows – N2, N0, 0

Lastly, I stuck this card panel on an A2 card base using art glitter glue.

I am linking this card to the AAA Birthday Card Challenge – A Stencil Background.

I have listed the products used below. Thank you for joining me today. Have a wonderful day.
