You’re going places

Hello there my crafty friends! I am so glad you stopped by. Today I made an encouragement card using the Hot Air Balloon Stamp Set from the November release by Isabel Cristina.

First, I assembled the image in photoshop and then printed it on a piece of Neenah Solar White 80lb cardstock. Next, I fussy cut it using my cutter bee scissors and used my Copic Markers to colour it.

Below are the colours I used:
Bear – E59, E57, E55, R20, C10
Hot Air Balloon – R59, R29, R27, R24, R22, E99, YR24, Y08, Y02, BG49, BG18, BG13, BG11, BG32
Basket – R59, R29, R27, R24, R22, E99, YR24, Y08, Y02

After that, I added details on the image using a Sakura White Gelly Roll pen.

To create the background, I used an A2 Distress watercolor cardstock and coloured it using Seedless Preserves, Blueprint Sketch and Chipped Sapphire Distress Inks along with a blender brush. Next, I splattered water on this panel and dabbed the excess with a paper towel. Then I splattered white liquid watercolor on the background. While the panel was drying, I die cut a piece of Neenah Solar White 110lb cardstock using the largest die from the Peek a Frame Die Set by Mama Elephant. Then I used 2 of the dies from the Puffy Cloud Borders Die Set by Lawn Fawn and die cut the clouds from the above die cut panel.

I then stamped the sentiment from the Up in the Air Stamp Set by My Favorite Things using Obsidian Pigment Ink. After that, I assembled the card panel and stuck it on an A2 card base.

I have listed the products used below. Thank you for visiting my Blog.
