Good Tidings to You!

For Day 6 of the Daily Marker 30 Day Challenge, I created a clean and simple Christmas card using the Home for the Holidays Stamp set by Hero Arts.

I cut a piece of Canson XL watercolour paper using the largest die from the Peek a Frame die set by Mama Elephant. Next, I stamped the images on a masking sheet, and fussy cut them. Since I wanted the snowman in the foreground, I stamped him first using VersaFine Onyx Black ink. Then I masked the snowman and stamped the house. After masking the house, I stamped the two trees on either side. I masked the tree on the right side and stamped the other tree. Then I stamped the smoke coming out of the chimney with Soft Granite ink by Hero Arts. Next, I stamped the sentiment using VersaFine Onyx Black Ink. I used my Tim Holtz Stamp Platform to stamp these images.

After that, I used post its to mask the top and lower part of this panel. Then I used Turquoise and Starlight inks by Altenew along with a mini ink blender to colour the sky. Next, I masked the top part and coloured the ground with Hickory Smoke Distress Ink. After that, I added shadows using Light Gray Zig marker (091).

Then I used my Zig Markers to colour the image.
Details of the Zig Markers I used:
House: Light Brown (061), Flesh colour (071), Gray (090), Light Gray (091), Bright Yellow (052)
Trees: Green (040), Pale Green (045), Light Brown (061), Flesh colour (071),
Snowman: Gray (090), Light Gray (091), Red (020)
Smoke: Light Gray (091) along with Derwent water brush

As a final step, I stuck this panel on a white A2 card base using art glitter glue.
