First, I placed the Spark Joy: Sweet Strawberries stencils on Jet Black cardstock and used washi tape to hold it in place. Then, I coloured it using the below Artists’ Gouache colours:
Strawberries – Baby Pink, Ruby Red, Coral Red, Mahogany Red
Leaves and stem – Pistachio Green, Lagoon Green, Prussian Blue
Tips for applying Gouache on stencils:
Squeeze some paint on a palette.
Then, use a sponge and dab it in the paint.
Next, lightly dab the sponge on the cardstock.
Let the paint dry.
Repeat this process with another colour.
After that, I stamped the sentiment from the Stone Mosaic Stamp Set using embossing ink. Then I sprinkled gold embossing powder on it and heat set it.
Next, I die cut the frame from black cardstock using the Mix and Match Frames Die. I then applied embossing ink randomly on it using a blending brush. Then I sprinkled antique gold embossing powder on it and heat set it. Lastly, I assembled the card and stuck this panel on a card base using liquid glue.
