Daily Marker Challenge – Day 7

Welcome back to my blog, my crafty friends. For Day 7 of the Daily Marker Challenge, I made a card using the Me And My Robot Stamp Set by Mama Elephant.

First, I stamped the three images on a piece of Neenah Solar White 110lb cardstock using Memento Black Ink and then fussy cut them using cutter bee scissors. Next, I used a Copic Multiliner Brush on the edges to give it a clean look.  I then used my Copic Markers to colour the images.

Below are the colours I used:
Robot: C5, C3, C1, 0, R89, R39, R29, R24
Girl: E02, E00, E000, C10, C7, C5, C3, B28, R89, R39, R29, R24
Boy: E02, E00, E000, C10, C7, C5, C3, C1, E55, E57, B06, B04, B00, YR04, Y38, Y02

To create the background panel, I used a piece of Canson XL watercolour paper and masked the ground using memo tape by Heffy Doodle. Then I coloured the sky using Mermaid Lagoon, Salty Ocean and Chipped Sapphire Distress Inks along with a mini ink blending tool. I then splattered Perfect Pearls mixed with water on this panel using my round brush. I also splattered some white iridescent shimmer spray by Hero Arts for some sparkle. After that, I smooshed Salty Ocean, Chipped Sapphire and Black Soot Distress Inks on my media mat and splattered them on the panel. Once it was dry, I masked the sky and coloured the grass using Mowed Lawn, Lucky Clover, Cracked Pistachio, Evergreen Bough and Pine Needle Distress Inks using an ink blending tool. After that, I splattered  Evergreen Bough and Pine Needle Distress Inks on it. Then I used my Copic Markers to add details.

Below are the colours I used:
Grass: G19, G14, YG11, G94, YG67, YG63, YG17

Next, I stamped the sentiment from the same stamp set on a piece of black cardstock using VersaMark Ink, sprinkled white embossing powder on it, dusted off the excess and heat set it with my heat gun. After that, I cut it using my trimmer.  Then I assembled the card using art glitter glue.

I have listed the products used below. Thank you for visiting my Blog.
