A Blog Named Hero March Challenge – Floral

Hello there! Welcome to my blog. We have a new challenge on A Blog Named Hero and the theme for this month’s challenge is Floral.

I started by stamping the floral image from the Hero Florals Magnolia Stamp Set thrice on a Neenah Solar White 80lb cardstock using Intens-ified Black ink. Then I fussy cut the images and used my Copic Markers to colour them.

Below are the colours I used:
Magnolia petals – RV69, RV19, RV17, RV14, RV13, RV21, RV10
Magnolia stamen – E99, YR24, Y08, Y02
Leaves – G29, G17, G14, YG13, YG11

To create the background, I placed the Spiral stencil on an A2 cardstock and inked it using Splash and Blue Hawaii Reactive inks along with my blender brushes. Next, I splattered black liquid watercolour on the panel using a size 2 round brush.

After that, I stuck the images on the card panel using precision glue. Then I stamped the sentiment from the Tranquility Stamp Set using Intens-ified Black ink. Lastly, I stuck this card panel on an A2 card base.

Thank you for joining me today. I hope you join the challenge for a chance to win a Hero Arts gift card!. Have a fabulous day.
