Hey there my crafty friends! I am so glad to have you back. For Day 24 of the Daily Marker Challenge, I made a birthday card using the Marine Friends Stamp Set by Mama Elephant.
First, I stamped the dolphins on a piece of Neenah Solar White 80lb cardstock using Memento Black Ink, fussy cut the images and coloured them using my Copic markers.
Below are the colours I used:
Dolphin – R85, R83, R81
For the background, I die cut a piece of Distress Watercolor cardstock using the Peek a Frame Die set by Mama Elephant. I die cut it twice more. Then I used the Ocean Waves Trio Die set by Mama Elephant to die cut the waves. Next, I coloured all the pieces using Cracked Pistachio, Peacock Feathers, Salty Ocean and Chipped Sapphire Distress Inks along with a mini ink blending tool. After that, I splattered water on them and dabbed the excess with a paper towel. Then I used my round brush and splattered Salty Ocean and Chipped Sapphire Distress Inks on the panels.
Once it was dry, I stamped the sentiment from the Birthday Messages Stamp Set by Mama Elephant using Obsidian Pigment Ink. Finally, I assembled the card and stuck the panel on an A2 card base.
