CDD October Release – Singing Penguins

I made these two cards using the Singing Penguins Digital Stamp from the October Release at Craftin Desert Divas.

Card 1:
I started by printing and fussy cutting the Singing Penguins and the Christmas Trees. Next, I applied Distress Stickles – Diamond on the treetops and the hats of the penguins. While the images were drying, I created the background on an A2 card base. I coloured the sky with Shaded Lilac and Spun Sugar Distress Oxide Ink using Hill Scene 2 Stencil along with a mini ink blending tool. I coloured the ground using Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide Ink.

Once the images were dry, I coloured them using my Zig Markers. After that, I stuck them on the background and added shadows on the ground. Then I stuck this background panel on a white A2 top folding card base.

Card 2:
First, I printed and fussy cut the Singing Penguins and the Streetlights. I then applied Distress Stickles – Diamond on the images and let them dry.

I printed the sentiment on a white cardstock and cut it to 5 1/2 * 4 1/4 inches. Next, I die cut a border from the same panel using the largest die from the Torn Paper Dies. After that, I used the inside piece of this die cut panel and masked the lower portion. Then I sprayed Tim Holtz Distress Resist Spray on it and let it dry.

While the background panel was drying, I coloured the images with my Zig Markers. Once the background panel was dry, I used Tumbled Glass Distress Ink to colour the sky. I then stuck the images and added shadows below them. After that, I stuck the cardstock on a white A2 top folding card base.

I have listed the products used below. Thank you for visiting my Blog.
