CDD October Release – Stocking Owl
Hey there! Today, I am so excited to share the two cards using the Stocking Owl Digital Stamp from Craftin Desert Divas October Release.
Card 1:
First, I resized and printed the images from Stocking Owl and Winter Village Digital Stamp Set on a watercolour cardstock. Next, I fussy cut them. After that, I applied Distress Stickles – Diamond over all the Santa cap’s and stockings and let them dry. Then I coloured them using Zig Markers.
I cut the background panel from a white watercolour cardstock using the largest die from Inside Scalloped Rectangle Dies. Next, I coloured the top half of the die cut panel using Blueprint sketch Distress Ink. After that, I splattered water on it using my Tim Holtz Distress Sprayer and dabbed the excess with a paper towel.
To create the mountains, I used Hill Scene 2 Stencil and Tumbled Glass Distress Ink along with a mini ink blending tool.
Next, I stuck the frame and the inside piece of cardstock on an A2 top folding card base. After that, I stuck the images on the card. I added strings for the stockings using a Silver Glitter Pen.
Card 2:
I printed and fussy cut the images from the Stocking Owl Digital Stamp. Then I applied Distress Stickles – Diamond on the Santa caps, let it dry and coloured them using Zig markers.
To create a focal spot, I cut a circle using the second largest die from the Stitched In Circle Dies. Next, I drew the branch and coloured it with my Zig Marker. After that, I masked the branch, and I coloured the background panel with Faded Jeans Distress Ink and an ink blending tool.
I printed the sentiment on a white A2 top folding card base. Next, I stuck the die cut circle on it. Then I stuck the 2 owl images.
