Altenew Extraordinary Embellishments Blog Hop + Giveaway ($300 in Total Prizes!)
Hello and welcome to my blog! I am thrilled to join Altenew for the Extraordinary Embellishments Blog Hop + Giveaway. You should be arriving here from the talented Virginia’s blog, but if not, you can go back to the start, at the Altenew Card Blog and go from there.
Project 1
I started by sticking the Botanical Rhapsody and Misty Meadows Washi Tapes on white cardstock. I then fussy cut the images and coloured them using my alcohol markers.
To create the background, I stuck the Gilded Ombre Washi Tape on an A2 Neenah Solar White 110lb card base and cut off the excess. Next, I stuck the flowers and leaves on this card panel using liquid glue. After that, I stamped the sentiment from the Best Sentiment Stamp Set on white cardstock using Obsidian Pigment Ink. Then I trimmed it and stuck it on the card panel using foam tape. Lastly, I embellished the card front using Antique Gold Sequins.

Project 2
I stuck the Botanical Rhapsody Washi Tape on white cardstock, fussy cut the images and coloured them with my alcohol markers.
I then used gold mirror cardstock to die cut the sentiment using the Signature Words Die Set and the diamonds from the Fine Frames Diamonds Die Set. After that, I assembled the card and stuck this panel on an A2 card base.
Supplies:
Project 3
For this card, I stuck the Calming Bouquet and Misty Meadows Wide Washi Tapes on white cardstock and fussy cut the images. I fussy cut 3 additional flowers to add dimension. Next, I splattered white gouache on an A2 Jet Black cardstock. After that, I stamped the sentiment from the Simply Spring Stamp Set on white cardstock using Obsidian Pigment Ink. Then I inked the edges using the same ink.
As the last step, I assembled the card and stuck the panel on an A2 card base.
Supplies:
Project 4
I started by placing the flower die cuts from the Pleasant Pansy 3D Die Set on a few different pattern papers from the Alluring Blooms and Summer Garden Paper Packs and ran them through my Mini Blossom Die Cutting Machine. For the centres of the flowers, I used the pattern paper from the Sweet Moments Paper Pack. Next, I die cut the leaves using the Pleasant Pansy 3D, Create-A-Wreath and Parlor Palm Die Sets.
To create the vase, I stuck the Gilded Ombre Washi Tape on Neenah Solar White 110lb cardstock and die cut it using a die from the Mod Vases Die Set. I then embossed the vase using the Angled Mosaic 3D folder.
For the background, I cut a sheet of Jet Black cardstock to 3 1/2 * 8 inches using my trimmer. Then I masked the ground, placed the Stone Wall Stencil on the card front and inked the panel using white pigment ink. I then removed the stencil and splattered white liquid watercolour on the background.
Once the panel was dry, I assembled the card using liquid glue and stuck it on to a card base. Lastly, I used my white colour pencil to add shadows below the vase and smoothened it with a blending stump.
