We all have someone who is going through a hard time and it is always nice to remind them that God will make everything right in His time. He knows what is good for us and He will ensure we get what we deserve when the time is right. If you are going through a tough time, remember God is holding you and doing His best to carry you out of this hardship. So this week I decided to make a card for those who are facing hardships to tell them to hold on, trust God and everything will be alright soon.
Let’s start making this clean and simple card. First, I cut a panel from Canson watercolour cardstock using the Fancy Frame Die set by Craftin Desert Divas. I then placed this piece in my Tim Holtz Stamp Platform. Next, I stamped the sentiment and the image from the In God’s Time Stamp Set by Joy Clair. I also stamped the image on a masking sheet and fussy cut it. I then masked the image and used post-it notes to mask the lower part of the paper and partially coloured the top part using Squeezed Lemonade Distress Ink. Then, I masked the top part and partially coloured the lower part using Mowed Lawn Distress Ink, followed by Twisted Citron Distress Ink. I used the Patina Stamp set by Maymay Made It to stamp the shadow below the image using Mowed Lawn Distress Ink. I then unmasked the image and coloured it with my Zig Markers. Next, I added a few Nuvo Drops to add dimension to the panel. I went over the image with my Clear Wink of Stella to add some glitter to the card.
I stuck this panel on a larger panel that I cut using the largest die from the Peek A Frame die set by Mama Elephant. Finally, I stuck this piece on a white A2 top folding card base using art glitter glue. Pretty simple right? So, what are you waiting for?
