Altenew January 2023 Nostalgic Memories Stamp/Die/Stencil Release Blog Hop #1 + Giveaway ($300 in Total Prizes!)

Hello there, and welcome to my blog! I am super thrilled to join Altenew for the January 2023 Nostalgic Memories Stamp/Die/Stencil Release Blog Hop #1 + Giveaway. You should be arriving here from the talented Jenny’s blog, but if not, you can go back to the start, at the Altenew Card Blog and go from there.

Project 1

First, I stamped the bicycle from the Retro Bicycle Stamp Set on white cardstock using Obsidian Pigment Ink, Heart Beat and Rhodolite Crisp Dye Inks. I then used the coordinating die to die cut the image.

For the road, I placed the Good Vibes Stencil on white cardstock and inked it using Jet Black Crisp Dye Ink. To make the background, I inked the Deck Planks 3D Embossing Folder using Espresso Crisp Dye Ink, placed an A2 cardstock on it and ran it through the die cutting machine. Then I inked the card panel using Sand Dunes, Mocha and Espresso Crisp Dye Inks.

After that, I embossed the sentiment from the Retro Bicycle Stamp Set using white embossing powder and die cut it using the coordinating die

Lastly, I assembled the card panel and stuck it on an A2 card base.

Project 2

First, I placed the Tall Tale Bookmark Die Set on Navy Cardstock and ran it through the die cutting machine. Next, I embossed the leaves from the Nostalgic Florals Stamp Set using antique gold embossing powder

After that, I inked the edges using Jet Black Crisp dye ink and an ink blending tool. Then I coloured the images using the white pencil from the Woodless Colouring Pencils.

Lastly, I splattered Enchanted Gold from the Metallic Watercolour Set using a round brush.

Project 3

First, I stamped the image from the Nostalgic Florals Stamp Set using Obsidian Pigment Ink. Then I coloured it using the coordinating stencil and the Heart Beat, Citrus Burst and Just Green Crisp Dye Inks.

Next, I inked an A2 watercolour cardstock using Just Green Crisp Dye ink along with a blending tool. Then I placed the Wavy Grid Stencil on it and stuck it in place with washi tape. After that, I dipped a paper towel in water and dabbed it on the card to lift off the ink. I then removed the stencil and splattered water on the card front and dabbed off the excess.

Then I stamped the sentiment from the Birthdays Around the World Stamp Set using Obsidian Pigment Ink. As the last step, I stuck the image to the card front and stuck the panel on an A2 card base.

Project 4

To make this bookmark, I embossed the image from the Blooming Gramophone Stamp Set on Emerald cardstock using antique gold embossing powder. Then I coloured it using Woodless Colouring Pencils. Lastly, I used the coordinating die set to die cut it.

Supplies:

Project 5

I die cut the bookmark from the watercolour cardstock using the Tall Tale Bookmark Die Set. Then I inked the panel using Sea Breeze, Tide Blue, Starlight, Sapphire, Azurite, Wisteria, Hydrangea, Ultraviolet, Andromeda and Heart Beat Crisp Dye Inks to create the galaxy background. Next, I splattered white gouache on the bookmark using a round brush.

While the panel was drying, I used the second layer of the Stained Glass Medallion Die Set and die cut it from Dazzling Diamond Glitter Cardstock three times and stuck the negatives on the bookmark.

Next, I die cut the base layer of the sentiment from Jet Black Cardstock and the top layer from Dazzling Diamond Glitter Cardstock using the Far Out Phrases Die Set. Then I assembled them using liquid glue and stuck them on the bookmark
