Hello and welcome back to my blog! Today I would like to share a card I made using the Exotic Parrot Stamp Set. You can get this new stamp set for FREE with every order. This promotion is on for 2 Days Only – from 5/8/2021 until 5/9/2021 at 11:59 pm EDT.
I started by stamping the image on a piece of Neenah Solar White 80lb cardstock using Limestone Crisp Dye Ink. Then I used my alcohol markers to colour the image. I then added details using my coloured pencils and used the coordinating die to cut out the image.
Next, I die cut the circle from an A2 cardstock using a die from the Circular Elements Die Set. To create the background, I inked a watercolour paper with Firefly Crisp Dye ink and an ink blending tool. Then I created the Bokeh effect using the Tiny Bubbles Stencil along with Shadow Creek, Grass Field and Mountain Pine Crisp Dye Inks.
After that, I stamped the sentiment from the Stone Mosaic Stamp Set on a piece of white cardstock using Obsidian Pigment Ink and then stuck a strip of Jet Black cardstock below it. Lastly, I assembled the card using precision glue.
