Today I would like to share a card I made for the Altenew Certified Educators Instagram Hop. The theme for this hop is Thanks and Gratitude, and Altenew is giving away a $20 gift certificate to 5 lucky winners. If you want to join the Hop, please click here.
I started by inking a white A2 card base using Citrus Burst, Orange Cream, Heart Beat, Vineyard Berry, Rhodolite and Jet Black Crisp Dye inks along with my ink blending tools. Next, I randomly stamped the leaves from the Leaf Clusters Stamp Set using Obsidian Pigment Ink.
After that, I placed the Simply Thank You Die on a piece of Jet Black cardstock and ran it through my die cutting machine. I die cut two more pieces and stuck them together to add dimension to the sentiment. Then I inked a sponge dauber using embossing ink and gently dabbed it on the die cut sentiment, sprinkled Antique Gold Crisp Embossing Powder on it and heat set it.
Next, I embossed the rest of the sentiment from the Sentiment Strips Stamp Set on Jet Black cardstock using gold embossing powder and stuck it on the card panel.
