Thank You

Hello there! Welcome to my blog. Today I would like to share the second card I made for this month’s A Blog Named Hero Create Texture challenge. To enter the challenge, post your card to Instagram using the hashtag #abnhoctoberchallenge by 5 pm ET on the 26th of the month for your chance to win one of the two gift vouchers from our fabulous sponsor – Hero Arts.

First, I die cut the pot from black cardstock using the Honey Pot Fancy Dies. Then I dabbed the edges with embossing ink using a sponge dauber, sprinkled Silver Sparkle Embossing Powder on it on it, dusted off the excess, and heat set it with my heat gun.

After that, I die cut the flowers and leaves from white cardstock using the Envelope Accessories and Bouquet Accessories Fancy Dies. I then used my Copic Markers to colour them. Below are the colours I used:
Flowers – R89, R39, R29, R24, R21
Centres of the flowers – Y02, Y08, YR24, E99
Leaves – YG67, YG63, YG23

To create the background, I inked the edges of an A2 watercolour cardstock using Citrus Burst, Fresh Lemon and Honey Drizzle Crisp Dye Inks along with my blending brush. Then I die cut the honeycomb using the Honeycomb Window Die from the My Monthly Hero January 2021 Kit and randomly stuck it on the card front using precision glue.

Next, I stamped and embossed the sentiment from the My Monthly Hero January 2021 Kit using Silver Sparkle Embossing Powder and die cut it using a banner die from the same kit. Then I trimmed the banner and made a hole in it using a pin. I then put a metallic thread through it and wrapped it around the pot.

Lastly I assembled the card and stuck this panel on an A2 card base.

Thank you for visiting my blog. I hope you join the challenge for a chance to win a Hero Arts gift card! Have an amazing day.
