Today I would like to share a card I made for the Altenew Certified Educators Instagram Hop. The theme for this hop is Pantone Colour 2023 – Viva Magenta, and Altenew is giving away a $20 gift certificate to 5 lucky winners. First, I trimmed Nara Alcohol Ink paper to 4 x 5 1/4 inches. Next, I dropped a few drops of 99% Isopropyl Alcohol on the panel, and then I added a couple of drops each of Pinkalicious and Rubellite Alcohol Inks. I then moved the card panel around till I was happy with the background.
After that, I stamped the image from the Stunning Sakura Stamp Set on white cardstock using Obsidian Pigment Ink. Next, I coloured the image using the coordinating stencils and Pink Diamond, Pinkalicious, Rubellite and Razzleberry Crisp Dye Inks.
I then fussy cut the image and went around the edges with the Black Brush Marker. After that, I die cut the sentiment using the Signature Words Die and the frame using the Mix and Match Frames Die Set from a sheet of Jet Black cardstock.
Next, I stuck the frame on the card front and then stuck this panel on an A2 card base.
