AAA Cards Challenge #156 – Sketch

Hello there and welcome back to my blog. We have a new challenge at the AAA Cards Blog, and the theme for challenge #156 is Sketch + Optional Twist Winter Birthday.

Milka is the Guest Designer for this challenge. Click here to visit her blog and see her gorgeous card.

First, I printed the image from the Winter Princess Stamp Set by Isabel Cristina on a piece of Neenah Solar White 80lb cardstock. Then I used my Copic Markers to colour it.

Below are the colours I used:
Skin – E00, E000, E000, R30
Hair – YR24, Y08, Y00
Gown – BG18, BG13, BG11, B23, B21

Next, I added dots to the gown using a blue and a white pen to add texture to the gown. I also added dots using a few Copic markers. After that, I fussy cut the image with my cutter bee scissors.

After that, I masked an A2 cardstock using purple tape leaving a thin strip on the top portion of the card. Then I inked it using Seedless Preserves and Blueprint Sketch Distress Inks along with a blender brush. Next, I splattered white gouache on it to create the stars.

I then unmasked the panel and stamped the snowflakes from the October 2018 Hero Arts Monthly kit and Winter Wonderland Stamp Set by Maymay Made It using Turquoise and Wisteria Crisp Dye inks by Altenew.

Lastly, I stamped the sentiment from the Birthday Messages Stamp Set by Mama Elephant using Obsidian Pigment Ink.

I am linking this card to the Simon Says Work It Wednesday Challenge.

I have listed the products used below. Thank you for visiting my Blog.
