Wintery Scene
For this week’s project, I made a winter themed card using the Memory Lane and Vinnie’s Fav Stamp sets by Maymay Made It.
First, I stamped the truck from the Memory Lane Stamp Set using Memento Black ink on Neenah Solar white 80lb cardstock. Next, I fussy cut the image using my cutter bee scissors. Then I coloured it using my Copic markers.
I cut a piece of Neenah Solar white 110lb cardstock to 3 1/4 * 4 1/2 inches. Then I used a masking sheet and masked the lower part of the paper and coloured the sky using Cracked Pistachio, Candied Apple, Wilted Violet, Tumbled Glass, Blueprint Sketch, Chipped Sapphire and Black Soot Distress inks along with a mini ink blending tool. After that, I masked the sky and used Hickory Smoke Distress ink to colour the ground.
I then stamped the trees from the Vinnie’s Fav Stamp set on some scrap pieces of white cardstock using VersaMark ink. Next, I sprinkled white embossing powder, dusted off the excess and heat set it with my heat gun. After that, I fussy cut them and used Vintage Photo Distress ink to colour the edges.
Then I stuck the trees to the background panel using art glitter glue. Next, I stuck the truck on it. After that, I stuck this panel on a 6 1/2 * 9 inches white card base, that I scored in half. To create the wintery scene, I splattered Copic Opaque White ink all over the panel using a round paintbrush.
While the panel was drying, I die cut the frame from a piece of Neenah Solar white 110lb cardstock using Wonky Scalloped Frames by Avery Elle. I wanted the frame to be more stable as it would be partially out of the card base, so I die cut it twice more and then stuck all the die cut pieces together with art glitter glue. Then I stuck the frame on the card panel.
I have listed the products used below. Thank you for visiting my Blog.
