The Male Room Challenge #119 – Autumn

Welcome back to my blog, my crafty friends! I am so thrilled to be a Guest Designer at The Male Room Blog. The theme for this challenge is Autumn, and since it is my favourite season, I absolutely enjoyed making this card.

Let’s start with the process. First, I stamped the house from the Christmas Town Stamp Set by Simon Says Stamp on an A2 Neenah Solar White 110lb cardstock using Memento Black Ink. Then I masked it using eclipse masking sheet. Next, I stamped the tree from the SY Scene Builder Stamp Set by My Favorite Things and masked it. I then stamped the tree behind it. After that, I stamped the bushes from the same stamp set. I then drew the hill using my Copic Multiliner pen.

Next, I masked all the images and coloured the ground using the green ink from the Autumn Ombre ink pad by Hero Arts and a distress blending brush. To add texture to the ground, I inked the brush using the orange colour from the same ink pad and lightly dabbed it on the cardstock.

After that, I masked the ground and coloured the sky using Seedless Preserves, Wilted Violet and Milled Lavender Distress Inks along with a blender brush. To create the stars, I splattered Perfect Pearls and white liquid watercolor using a round brush. Once this was dry, I unmasked the images and used my Copic Markers to colour them.
Below are the colours I used:
House – N3, N1, 0, Y08, Y06, E55, E57, E59
Tree 1 – YG99, G94, YG63, Y02, Y11
Tree 2 and green bush – YG25, YG03, YG01
Orange bush – YR04, Y08, Y02

To create the frame, I die cut a piece of Neenah Solar White 110lb cardstock using a die from the My Monthly Hero September 2018 kit. Then I used my Copic Markers to colour the leaves and branches.
Below are the colours I used:
Orange leaves – YR04, Y08, Y02
Green leaves – YG99, G94, YG63, Y02, Y11
Red leaves – R39, R35, Y17
Reddish orange leaves – E19, YR18, YR04

Next, I stamped the sentiment from the same stamp set using Obsidian Pigment Ink. I then used foam tape to stick this frame to the card panel. Lastly, I stuck this panel on an A2 card base using art glitter glue.

I have listed the products used below. Thank you for visiting my Blog.
