Addicted to CAS Challenge #195 – Flower

Hello there, my crafty friends. Welcome back to my blog. We have a new challenge at the Addicted to CAS Blog, and the theme for challenge #195 is Flower.

First, I stamped the vase from the Versatile Vases Stamp Set on an A2 Neenah Solar White 80lb cardstock using FadeOut Ink by InkOn3. Next, I stamped the rose from the Inked Bud Stamp Set using the same ink.

I then used my Copic Markers to colour the image. Below are the colours I used:
Rose – R59, R37, R35, R43, R32
Stem – YG17, YG13, YG11
Glass vase – C7, C5, C1, B000, B91, 0

To colour the vase, I followed the tutorial from Lesson 3 of the Clearly Copic: Coloring Glass Course by Sandy Allnock. This is my first time colouring clear glass and I am quite happy with the result. What do you think?

After that, I stamped the sentiment from the Positive Vibes Stamp Set using Obsidian Pigment Ink. As the last step, I stuck this panel on an A2 card base.

I have listed the products used below. Thank you for joining me today. Be sure to visit this month’s challenge post for more inspiration from the design team. Have a fabulous weekend.

  1. Absolutely GORGEOUS card, Joy! Your coloring and shadow are flawless and I love the rich red on the rose…WOW! Really striking effects on the glass vase, too…I only dream of creating a stunning card like this 🙂 Barb xx
