Sending you a little Sunshine
I made this card using the Craft-A-Flower: Rhododendron Layering Die Set. For a more detailed explanation, you can check out the below video.
I die cut the images from Neenah Solar white 110lb cardstock using the Craft-A-Flower: Rhododendron Layering Die Set.
Next, I inked the die cuts using the below Crisp Dye Inks:
Flower petals – Citrus Burst, Heart Beat, Vineyard Berry, Rhodolite
Stamens – Citrus Burst, Honey Drizzle
Leaves – Parrot, Just Green, Hunter Green, Green Onyx, Citrus Burst
Then, I used the Crimson Pen from the Hawaiian Shores Dual Tip Pens to colour the anthers. After that, I used Autumn Blaze and Ruby Red watercolour Brush Markers to splatter colour on the 3rd layer of the flowers and set them aside to dry. I then assembled the flowers using liquid glue.
Next, I placed the Linear Crossroads Die on a mirror cardstock and ran it through the die cutting machine. I repeated this process one more time.
I then embossed the sentiment from the Build-A-Garden: Blushing Magnolias on Jet Black cardstock using antique gold embossing powder. After that, I placed a black A2 cardstock in the Masonry Wall 3D Embossing Folder and ran it through my die cutting machine.
Next, I assembled the card front. Then, I splattered the Enchanted Gold from the Metallic Watercolor 14 Pan Set and Titanium White on the card front.
Lastly, I stuck a layer of foam tape on the sentiment and stuck the sentiment on the card panel.
Thank you for visiting my blog. I look forward to seeing you next week!
Until then, live creatively and spread the joy of handmade art. โค๏ธ
