Altenew Educators’ “Anything Goes” Video Hop

Today I am joining the Altenew Educators’ “Anything Goes” Video Hop + Giveaway. If you would like to join the giveaway, please visit my Youtube Channel.

I die cut the pieces from Neenah Solar White 110lb cardstock using the Craft-A-Flower: Tulip Full Bloom Layering Die Set. Next, I coloured the images using Artist Markers Set E and Set H. Below are the colours I used:
Flowers – Citrus Burst, Autumn Blaze, Firebrick, Heart Beat, Vineyard Berry, Just Green
Leaves and Stems – Sweet Leaf, Just Green, Hunter Green, Heart Beat, Parrot

After that, I assembled the flowers using liquid glue.

For the background, I mixed Prussian Blue and Phthalo Green watercolour on my palette and applied it on the cardstock. Then, I applied water on an A2 watercolour cardstock using a flat brush and applied the colour on it. I then tilted the cardstock to help move the watercolour.

Next, I picked up excess colour from the edges using a clean brush. Once the panel was dry, I applied the watercolour on an acetate sheet, placed it on the cardstock and gently moved it using my fingers. I repeated this process few more times till I was happy with the background.

For the last few layers, I used Phthalo Green watercolour. Then, I splattered Phthalo Green on the panel. After the panel was completely dry, I stuck it on a white A2 card base using foam tape.

Next, I stamped the sentiment from the Blossom & Bloom Stamp Set on white cardstock using Obsidian Pigment Ink. I then trimmed the cardstock and inked the edges using the brush pen.

Lastly, I assembled the card using liquid glue.

Thank you for visiting my blog. I look forward to seeing you next week!

Until then, live creatively and spread the joy of handmade art. ❤️
