Sending Happy Thoughts
I started by die cutting the flower and leaves from Neenah Solar White 80lb cardstock using the Craft-A-Flower: Himalayan Blue Poppy Layering Die Set. Then I coloured them using the below Mystic Garden Artist Alcohol Markers Set J. Below are the colours I used:
Flower – Mahogany Bark, Burnt Red, Canyon Clay, Pastel Sunrise
Centre of the flower – Arctic Mountain, Winter Lake, Icy Water, Polar Bear
Leaves – Mangrove Root, Sea Forest, Marshland, Misty Moor
Next, I placed the Floral Lace Die on Neenah Solar White 110lb cardstock and ran it through the die cutting machine. I then inked it using Persian Blue Crisp Dye Ink and an ink blending tool.
After that, I die cut a piece ofย Jet Black cardstockย using theย Reflections Die. Then I stamped the sentiment from theย Bold Sentiments Stamp Setย on white cardstock usingย Obsidian Pigment Ink. Next, I splattered white gouache on anย A2 Jet Black cardstock.
As the last step, I assembled the card and stuck the panel on anย A2 card base using liquid glue.
