Seasonal Scene Building
Hello and welcome back to my blog! Today I would like to share a card I made for the Seasonal Scene Building Course by Altenew Academy. In this course, Nichol Magouirk showcases the many ways you can create a fabulous and unique scene on your projects. I absolutely enjoyed this course and all the amazing tips offered by Nichol. I have followed a few of her techniques to make my card.
For this card, I used the Garden Grow Stamp Set. First, I stamped the images I wanted in the foreground on an A2 Neenah Solar White 110lb cardstock using Memento Black Ink. Then I stamped them on a masking sheet, fussy cut them and masked the images on the card panel. Next, I stamped the images in the background. I stamped the pots on the bench first, masked them and then stamped the bench. After that, I coloured the sky with Copic Marker B000. Then I created the clouds using the Mini Cloud Edges Stencil by My Favorite Things, Tide Blue Crisp ink and a blender brush.
Next, I unmasked the images and used my Copic Markers to colour them.
Below are the colours I used:
