First, I placed the Poinsettia Dies on red, pink and yellow cardstocks from the Smooth Cardstock Paper – Warms set and used the mint tape to hold the dies in place. I then ran them through my Spellbinders Platinum Die cutting machine. Next, I inked the edges of the die cut pieces using Fired Brick, Aged Mahogany and Mustard Seed Distress Inks along with my Nuvo Blender Brushes. I also lightly inked the edges with Metallic Frost and Metallic Gold Pigment Inks. I used the Permanent Adhesive Roller to assemble the Poinsettia.

To create the background, I lightly inked an A2 card base using Peat Moss Dye ink along with the blender brush. Then I die cut a piece of Neenah Solar White 80lb cardstock using the Circle Quilt Cover die. Next, I used this die cut panel as a stencil and placed it on top of the card panel and inked it again using Peat Moss Dye ink. I then removed the stencil and used Metallic Frost and Metallic Gold Pigment Inks and Peat Moss Dye ink along with a few sponge daubers to create a Bokeh effect.

After that, I die cut the word Merry from a piece of Neenah Solar White 110lb cardstock using the Tall Skinny Alphabet Die Set. I die cut each alphabet twice and stuck them together to add dimension.

Next, I stamped the word Christmas on a strip of Neenah Solar White 110lb cardstock using the Vintage Type Lower Stamp Set and Peat Moss Dye ink.

Lastly, I assembled the card and stuck the sentiment strip using foam squares.

I have listed the products used below. Thank you for visiting my Blog.
