Love Peace and Joy
Hello and welcome to my blog. I am so thrilled to be the Guest Designer for Waffle Flower November release. I made this Christmas card using the Merry Wreath and Herringbone Combo Sets.
I started by placing the first layer of the wreath from the Merry Wreath Stamp Set in my Misti and stamped it using Just Green Crisp ink. For the second layer, I used Hunter Green Crisp ink. I then stamped the berries using Crimson Crisp ink. Next, I used the matching die to cut it out. Then I added white details on the berries using a Sakura Gelly roll pen. After that, I used the inner portion of the die cut wreath to stamp the sentiment from the Herringbone Sentiments Stamp Set using VersaMark Ink. I then sprinkled white embossing powder on it, dusted off the excess and heat set it with my heat gun.
Then I stamped the bow from the Merry Wreath Stamp Set using VersaMark Ink, sprinkled Metallic Gold Sparkle embossing powder on it and heat set it with my heat gun. Next, I die cut this bow using the matching die.
To create the background, I die cut a piece of Neenah 80lb cardstock using the Herringbone Panel Die. I also embossed an A2 Neenah cardstock using the same die. After that, I inked the above two panels and the sentiment panel with Crimson Crisp ink in the centre and Ruby Red Crisp ink around the edges using a blender brush. Then I wiped the embossed sentiment with a paper towel to remove any excess ink.
Next, I stuck the die cut background on the embossed panel using liquid glue. After that, I splattered white liquid watercolor on the sentiment and background panel using a round brush.
Lastly, I assembled the card and stuck this panel on to an A2 card base.
I have listed the products used below. Thank you for visiting my Blog.
