Irresistible Inking Techniques
Hello there, my crafty friends! I am so glad you are back. I made this card for the Irresistible Inking Techniques Course by Altenew Academy. I loved the tips and tricks provided by Sara Naumann in this course, and I used a few of her techniques to make this card.
The picture from the Altenew October Challenge was my inspiration for this card.
First, I placed the solid stamp from the Itโs For You Stamp Set on my Misti and stamped it three times using Sea Breeze, Citrus Burst and Pink Diamond Dye inks on a piece of Neenah Solar White 80lb cardstock. Then I stamped the second layer using Turquoise, Fresh Lemon and Pinkalicious Dye inks. For the third layer, I used the Starlight, Honey Drizzle and Razzleberry Dye inks. Then I fussy cut these images using my cutter bee scissors.
After that, I die cut six squares measuring 2 1/2 inches each from a piece of Distress Watercolor cardstock. I then inked 2 of the squares with Maple Yellow Dye ink, the other 2 with Rubellite Dye ink and the last 2 using Starlight Dye ink. Next, I die cut 1 square of each colour using the Circle Quilt Cover die.ย
To create a mat for the above squares, I cut three squares measuring 2 3/4 inches from a piece of Neenah Solar White 110lb cardstock. Then I inked the edges of each square using Maple Yellow, Rubellite and Tide Blue Crisp inks.ย
Next, I cut a piece of Neenah Solar White 110lb cardstock to 8 1/2 * 4 inches, placed the Illusion Spiral Stencil on the left side and inked the card using Rubellite Dye ink along with a blender brush. Then I wiped the stencil and placed it in the centre and inked the panel using Tide Blue Dye ink. After wiping the stencil again, I placed it on the right side and inked the card using Maple Yellow Dye ink.
I then placed the sentiment from the same stamp set on my Misti and stamped it using Obsidian Pigment Ink. After that, I assembled the card using on-point precision glue and stuck this card panel on to a card base.
I have listed the products used below. Thank you for visiting my Blog.
