Have a Magical Birthday

Hello friends!  I am so glad you stopped by. It has been a while since I made a shaker card, so I decided to make one for my friend’s daughter’s birthday. I hope she likes it.

First, I stamped the unicorn and the castle from the Critters Ever After Stamp Set by Lawn Fawn on a piece of Neenah Solar White 80lb cardstock using Memento Black Ink. Then I fussy cut the images and coloured them with my Copic Markers.

Below are the colours I used:
Unicorn – C7, N1, 0, V01, V12, V15, RV00, RV02, RV04
Castle – C5, C3, N3, N1, 0, V01, V12, V15, RV00, RV02, RV04

To create the cloud panel, I die cut a piece of Distress Watercolor cardstock using a die from the Interactive Swing Die Set by My Favorite Things. Next, I die cut the frame using Stitched Rectangle Frames Die by Lawn Fawn. After that, I coloured both the cloud and the frame using Wilted Violet Distress Ink along with a blender brush.

Then I placed the Mini Cloud Edges Stencil by My Favorite Things on an A2 cardstock and created the clouds using Wilted Violet Distress Ink and a blender brush. Next, I splattered white liquid watercolor on the background and the cloud panel using a round brush. I also splattered Wilted Violet Distress Ink on both panels.

I then stamped the sentiment from the Magical Stamp Set by Waffle Flower on the cloud panel using Obsidian Pigment Ink. After that, I die cut the number 9 from a piece of white cardstock using the Stitched Numbers by My Favorite Things. Then I coloured it with my Copic Markers – RV04, RV02 and RV00, and stuck it on the cloud panel. Next, I stamped “th” besides the number 9 from the Perfectly Penned Stamp Set by Concord & 9th.

After that, I stuck the frame on top of the cloud panel and then stuck it on a piece of acetate using art glitter glue. Then I stuck foam tape around the frame and behind the castle and unicorn. Next, I put a mix of pink sequins from my collection in the shaker well. I then removed the backing from the foam tape and stuck the background panel on it. Lastly, I stuck this card panel on an A2 card base.

I have listed the products used below. Thank you for visiting my Blog.
