Don’t Let Anyone Dull Your Sparkle!
Hey There! Today I am sharing another card I made for the Pastel Lovers Creative Challenge at Craftin Desert Divas.
Let’s start with the process. To create the background, I cut a piece of Neenah Solar white 110lb cardstock to 4 1/4 * 5 1/2 inches. Next, I placed the Star Galaxy Stencil on it and inked it using Squeezed Lemonade Distress Oxide Ink along with an ink blending tool. I had seen a few crafters use Nuvo drops with stencils, so I decided to try Icicle Distress Stickles and spread it over the stencilled area using a palette knife. While the card panel was drying, I stamped the image from the Seasonal Fairies Stamp Set using Memento Black ink on Neenah 80lb cardstock, fussy cut it and used my Copic Markers to colour it.
After that, I stamped the sentiment from the This and That Stamp set using Memento Black ink and coloured it with my Copic Marker.
Once the background was dry, I used the Hill Scene 2 Stencil along with Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide Ink and a mini ink blending tool to create the clouds. Then I assembled the card and stuck this card panel on an A2 card base.
