Today I would like to share a card I made using the My Monthly Hero December 2023 kit.
I started by die cutting the background from a black A2 cardstock using the Alphabet die.
Next, I inked the Sparkling Fireworks Bold Prints Stamp using embossing ink, stamped it on an A2 Paradise cardstock, sprinkled Gold Glitter Embossing Powder on it and heat set it with my heat gun.
After that, I inked the edges of the cardstock using Volcano Lake, Lagoon and Emerald Fresh inks along with a blending brush. I then stuck this panel behind the black die cut panel.
Then, I stamped and embossed the sentiment from the Message Basics Stamp Set on a strip of black cardstock using Gold Glitter Embossing Powder. To create a mat behind the sentiment, I trimmed a strip of Paradise cardstock, inked the edges using Volcano Lake, Lagoon and Emerald Fresh inks and stuck it behind the sentiment panel.
Lastly, I stuck the sentiment on the card front and stuck the card panel on an A2 card base using precision glue.
