You mean the World to Me!

Welcome back to my blog! I am extremely excited and honoured to be a part of Isabel Cristina’s Design Team. I have always admired her adorable stamps, and today I would like to share the first card I made as a part of her team using the Lovable bears Digital stamp set.

First, I printed the images and sentiment on Neenah Solar white 80lb cardstock. Next, I fussy cut them using my cutter bee scissors. After that, I cut the sentiment strip using a trimmer. Then I used my Copic Markers to colour the images and the sentiment. Since I wanted to make the sentiment strip look like an arrow, I drew the top and base of the arrow on a piece of cardstock, cut it, coloured it and stuck it behind the strip.

For the background, I cut a piece of Neenah Solar white 110lb cardstock to 4 * 5 1/4 inches using a trimmer. Then I used the Flowing Hearts Stencil by Altenew along with Spun Sugar and Picked Raspberry Distress inks and a detail blending tool to colour the heart in the background. Next, I used Copic markers and created the grass with the Flicking technique.I then masked the grass with the memo tape by Heffy Doodle and coloured the edges using Picked Raspberry Distress ink along with a mini ink blending tool. After that, I smooshed Picked Raspberry Distress ink on my craft mat, sprayed water on it using my Distress sprayer and used a round brush to splatter ink on the card panel. I unmasked the grass and let the background dry.

Then I stuck this panel on a white A2 top folding card base. Next, I stuck a piece of foam behind the heart balloon for dimension and stuck the two bears directly on the card. Lastly, I stuck the sentiment strip on the heart at an angle using art glitter glue.

I have listed the products used below. Thank you for visiting my Blog.
