Coffee. Donuts. Friends. The Perfect Blend!
Hello there! Today I am sharing a bookmark I made using the Coffee Donuts Friends Stamp Set by Darice, Iron Orchid Stamp by Prima Marketing, the Tall Tag Duo Die by My Favorite Things and a few Distress Inks.
I started by die cutting a piece of Neenah Solar White 110lb cardstock using Tall Tag Duo Die by My Favorite Things. Next, I stamped the donut and coffee cup from the Coffee Donuts Friends Stamp Set on a masking sheet and fussy cut it with my cutter bee scissors. Then I stamped the donut using Memento Black Ink. After that, I masked it and stamped the coffee cup.
Next, I stamped the sentiment from the same stamp set using VersaFine Onyx Black Ink, sprinkled clear embossing powder on it, dusted off the excess and heat set it with my heat gun.
I then masked the cup and coloured the background using Ripe Persimmon and Squeezed Lemonade Distress Inks along with a blender brush. Next, I coloured the lower portion of the bookmark using Mowed Lawn and Evergreen Bough Distress Inks.
To add texture on the background, I used the Iron Orchid Stamp and stamped it with Wild Honey Distress Ink. Then I unmasked the images and used my Copic Markers to colour them.
I am linking this card to the Simon Says Wednesday Challenge.
