Clean and Simple Thinking of you card

Hello, lovelies! I am so glad to see you! I made today’s card for the Clean and Simple Challenge at A Blog Named Hero using the My Monthly Hero Kit April 2019.

First, I die cut the building and water from a piece of Snow layering paper by Hero Arts using the dies from the kit. Then I inked the water using Blue Water, Sea Glass and Sea Salt Water Reactive Ink Cubes from the My Monthly Hero Kit March 2019 along with a blender brush. After that, I inked the building with Antique Linen Distress Oxide Ink. Then I inked the edges using Gathered Twigs and Vintage Photo Distress Oxide Inks. I wanted to add texture to the building, so I used Ground Expresso Distress Oxide Ink along with a mini ink blending tool and lightly dabbed it over the die cut panel.

I applied Distress Glaze on both the die cut panels as it helps to pop the colours. Next, I stuck both the panels on an A2 card base. After that, I stamped the sentiment from the April kit using VersaFine Onyx Black Ink. As a final step, I coloured the lights using Y06 Copic Marker.

I have listed the products used below. Thank you for visiting my Blog.
