Christmas Craft Creations October Challenge – Christmas Music

Hello, and welcome to my blog. We have a new challenge at the Christmas Craft Creations Blog, and the theme for the October Challenge – Christmas Music.

Angie is our Guest Designer for this challenge. Click here to see her gorgeous card.

First, I printed the image from the Christmas Caroling Critters Stamp Set by Dis Digi Stamps* on a piece of Neenah Solar White 80lb cardstock. Then I trimmed the card panel to 4 1/4 * 5 1/2 inches using my trimmer. Next, I printed this image on a masking sheet, fussy cut it and masked the image.

* Note: This stamp was a freebie on the Kit and Clowder Facebook group. If you aren’t a part of the group, I recommend you to join it. Alyce has freebies and giveaways every week. If you wish to purchase this stamp set I have linked it below.

I then inked the area near the light using Citrus Burst Crisp Ink. For the rest of the sky, I used Victorian Velvet, Seedless Preserves, Blueprint Sketch and Black Soot Distress inks along with my blender brushes by Taylored Expressions. Next, I unmasked the images and used my Copic Markers to colour them.

Below are the colours I used:
Bear – E27, E25, E23, E21, Y06, R20
Bear’s clothes – B97, B95, B93, B91, Y06, Y02, R89, R39, R27, R24, R22, R21
Rabbit – BG49, BG23, BG13, BG11, N3, Y06, Y02, Y00
Rabbit’s clothes – W3, W2, W1, W0, W00, Y06, Y02, Y00
Mouse – N3, N2, N1, N0, R20, R00
Mouse’s clothes – YR09, YR04, Y38, Y35
Carol sheets – E33, E31, E30, Y02, Y00
Lamp – T7, T5, T3, Y06, Y02, Y00, 0
Candle – N2, N0, 0, Y02, Y00
Snow – BV000, BG11, BG10, B000

To make it a snowy scene, I splattered white liquid watercolour on the panel using a round brush. After that, I stamped the sentiment from the Bitty Holiday Wishes Stamp Set by My Favorite Things using Obsidian Pigment Ink. I then stuck the card panel on an A2 card base using art glitter glue.

I have listed the products used below. Thank you for visiting my Blog.
