CDD March Release – It’s a Spring Thing

Today I would like to share two cards I made using the It’s a Spring Thing Stamp Set from the Craftin Desert Divas March Release.

Card 1:
First, I cut a piece of Neenah Solar white 110lb cardstock using the second largest die from the Stitched In Circle Dies. Then I stamped the images on it using Memento Black Ink. I also stamped them on a masking sheet, and fussy cut them. After that, I masked the images and used the Hill Scene 2 Stencil along with Wilted Violet, Blueprint Sketch, Mermaid Lagoon, Mowed Lawn, Mustard Seed, Carved Pumpkin and Candied Apple Distress Inks and a mini ink blending tool to colour in the background. After that, I unmasked the images and coloured them with my Copic Markers. I then die cut a piece of cardstock using the largest die from the Stitched In Circle Dies. Next, I assembled the card and stuck the panel on an A2 top folding card base. I used the sentiment from the Seasonal Fairies Stamp Set and masked the word “fairy” before stamping it on the card using VersaFine Onyx Black Ink. Then I embellished the card using a few sequins from the Petalicious Sequins set.

Card 2:
I started by cutting a piece of Distress watercolor cardstock using the largest die from the Fancy Frame Dies. Next, I used Squeezed Lemonade, Mustard Seed, Picked Raspberry and Wilted Violet Distress inks along with a mini ink blending tool to colour the background. After that, I cut a piece of Neenah Solar white 110lb cardstock using the Mushroom Border Die. I cut off the mushrooms and the tree trunk and coloured the die cut panel using my Copic Markers. Next, I stamped the images using Memento Black Ink, fussy cut them and coloured them with my Copic Markers. I used a white and a black gelly roll pen by Sakura to add details to the images. Then I assembled the card and stuck this panel on a white A2 card base.

I have listed the products used below. Thank you for visiting my Blog.
