CDD October Release – Ski-Sons

As you might have read in my previous post, I am Guest Designing for Craftin Desert Divas for their October Release. I created two cards using the cute and fun Ski-Sons Stamp Set.

Card 1:
I started by stamping the image and sentiment using VersaFine Onyx Black ink on a watercolour cardstock I cut using the largest die from the Fancy Frame Dies. Next, I drew the mountains using a pencil, went over it with a Copic Multiliner pen and erased off any pencil lines. After that, I applied Distress Stickles – Diamond on the hat, jacket and the boots of the fox. Once it was dry, I used Mermaid Lagoon and Blueprint Sketch Distress Inks along with a mini ink blending tool to add colour to the sky. Next, I used my Zig Markers to colour the fox, the ski path and the ground. After that, I stuck this panel on a black A2 card base.

Card 2:
First, I cut an A2 watercolour cardstock using the largest die from the Torn Paper Dies to create a border. Next, I stamped the image and the sentiment using VersaFine Onyx Black ink. After that, I applied Distress Stickles – Diamond over the hats of the two critters. Once it was dry, I masked the image and coloured the slope using the Hill Scene 2 Stencil along with Tumbled Glass Distress ink and a mini ink blender. Next, I used the Hill Scene 2 Stencil along with Mermaid Lagoon and Blueprint Sketch Distress Inks to colour the sky. After that, I unmasked the image and coloured it with Zig Markers. I stuck this panel and the border I created earlier, on an A2 card base. I then added Distress Stickles – Diamond over the card to add texture to it.

I have listed the products used below. Thank you for visiting my Blog.
