Hey there! Welcome back to my blog! Craftin Desert Divas February release is absolutely adorable, and I am sure you agree with me! 😊
Today I would like to share the process for the two cards I made using the Forest Friends Stamp Set from this month’s release.
Card 1:
First, I stamped the images on a Neenah Solar white 80lb cardstock using Memento Black Ink. Next, I fussy cut them with my cutter bee scissors and used my Copic markers to colour them.
After that, I cut a piece of Neenah Solar white 110lb cardstock using the second largest die from the Fancy Frame Dies. Then I masked the inside portion of the cardstock and coloured the scallops using Picked Raspberry Distress Ink along with a mini ink blending tool.
Next, I cut a masking sheet using the second largest die from the Fancy frame Dies and the Nested Heart Dies. I then masked the card panel I created earlier and coloured the heart using Worn Lipstick Distress Ink along with an ink blender.
After that, I layered the Sorted Shapes 3 Stencil on it and used Picked Raspberry Distress Ink and a detail ink blending tool to colour in the little hearts. To create the leaves surrounding the heart, I cut a piece of cardstock using the Stitched In Circle Dies. I coloured it using Copic Markers and then stuck it around the heart. After that, I stuck the two images over the panel and stuck this panel on a white A2 card base. Lastly, I added shadows below the two images using my Copic markers.
Card 2:
I started by stamping the critters on Neenah Solar white cardstock. Next, I cut them using my cutter bee scissors, and I used my Copic markers to colour them.
After that, I used the largest die from the Torn Paper Dies along with a piece of cardstock and die cut it twice. Then I used one of the die cut panels along with the Mushroom Border Die to create the ground. I used my Copic markers to colour it. Next, I coloured the sky on the second panel, using Mermaid Lagoon Distress Ink and a mini ink blending tool.
Then I stamped the sentiment from the Say It Big Stamp Set using Memento Black Ink. Next, I stuck the mushroom border panel on this piece and stuck the critters over it. I die cut the frame from a black A2 cardstock using the same die. After that, I stuck the frame and the cardstock panel on a white A2 card base using art glitter glue.
I have listed the products used below. Thank you for visiting my Blog.
