Altenew Workshop – 17th December
Hello there! I made this card during my monthly workshop hosted by Bridget Casey. She has a workshop every Saturday, and they are always super fun. If you love to craft and chat with fellow friends and crafters, click here to visit her blog and join her amazing workshops.
First, I die cut the flowers and leaves from Neenah Solar White 110lb cardstock using the Craft-A-Flower: Morning Glory Layering Die Set and inked them using the below Crisp Dye inks:
Flowers – Pinkalicious, Rubellite, Razzleberry, Rhodolite, Hydrangea, Ultraviolet, Andromeda, Tide Blue, Citrus Burst
Leaves and Vines – Just Green, Hunter Green, Green Onyx
Next, I assembled the die cut pieces using precision glue. Then I placed an A2 cardstock in the Flowing Wreath 3D Embossing Folder and ran it through my die cutting machine.
After that, I placed the Wavy Grid Stencil on the embossed cardstock and stuck it in place using washi tape. I then inked the edges and centre of the card panel using Just Green and Jet Black Crisp Dye inks. To add some shimmer and shine, I applied enchanted gold from the Metallic Watercolor 14 Pan Set using a round brush.ย
Then I added shadows under the leaves using Moon Rock, Jet Black and Shadow Creek Woodless Colouring Pencils. Next, I stamped the sentiment from the Better Together Stamp Set using Obsidian Pigment Ink.
As the last step, I assembled the card and stuck the panel on an A2 card base.
I have listed the products used below. Thank you for joining me today. I hope you have a beautiful day.
