Hello and welcome to my blog! I am thrilled to join Altenew for the January 2023 Marvelous Monthly Series Release Blog Hop + Giveaway. You should be arriving here from the talented Agnieszka’s blog.

Project 1

First, I stamped the flower from the Build-A-Garden Grand Carnations Stamp Set on an A2 card base using Obsidian Pigment Ink. Next, I inked it using the coordinating stencil, ink blending tool and the below Crisp Dye Inks:
FlowerCitrus Burst, Orange Cream, Heart Beat, Vineyard Berry, Rhodolite
Leaves and stemSweet Leaf, Just Green, Hunter Green, Evergreen

After that, I used my coloured pencils to add details to the image. Next, I masked the image, placed the background stencil on the card front and inked it using the Jet Black Crisp Dye ink and an ink blending tool. I then turned the stencil and lightly inked the cardstock using the same ink.

Then I die cut the sentiment from Jet Black cardstock using the Signature Words Die Set and stuck it on the card panel.

Project 2

I die cut the flowers and leaves from Neenah Solar White 110lb cardstock using the Craft-A-Flower: Orchids Layering Die Set. Next, I used the below crisp dye inks and ink blending brushes to colour the die cut pieces:
FlowersTide Blue, Ultraviolet, Rubellite, Andromeda
BranchJust Green, Hunter Green, Evergreen

After that, I die cut the Garden Trellis Cover Die from Jet Black cardstock. I then poured some precision glue on my work surface, used a sponge dauber and dabbed the glue randomly on some areas of the die cut panel. Next, I placed the gold foil on it and gently burnished it.

Then I splattered enchanted gold from the Metallic Watercolour Set on an A2 Jet Black cardstock using a round brush. After that, I embossed the sentiment from Build-A-Garden: Grand Carnations Stamp Set using antique gold crisp embossing powder. I then trimmed it and embossed the edges using the gold embossing powder. As the last step, I assembled the card panel and stuck it on an A2 card base.

Project 3

First, I die cut the bookmark from Jet Black cardstock using the Tall Tale Bookmark Die Set. Then I applied gold foil on it using the butterflies’ hot foil plates from the Spark Joy: Fluttering Butterflies.

Next, I placed the coordinating stencil on it and coloured in the grass and butterflies using the Misty Teal, Pistachio Green, Lagoon Green, Coral Red and Ruby Red Artists’ Gouache and a few sponge daubers.

Then I poured some precision glue on my work surface, used a sponge dauber and dabbed the glue randomly on some areas of the leaves. Next, I placed the gold foil on it and gently burnished it with my fingers.

Lastly, I splattered enchanted gold from the Metallic Watercolour Set using a round brush.
